Best place to watch is at Plymouth Hoe, make sure you get there early as it gets very busy.   Fairground, catering and live music will be available on both nights.  

A fun evening for all the family and best of all its free to enjoy.

This weekend has been excellent! Saturday saw this annual event take place at the The Woodman Pub in Ongar, Essex. Four teams of semi-professionals let off some amazing “pyro” all of which can be bought by the general public throughout the year from all year firework retailers. With a shop selling price budget of £650 they all produced some brilliant displays.
First off was Knights of Fire. As the music started; flash, bang and straight away up came the fireworks in time to the music (spot on timing) starting with Brother’s Night Vision providing a cascade of colour pearls darting through the night sky. As more and more fireworks illuminated the sky the crowd were dazzled by the depth and breadth of these superb sky fillers.
Second off were The News Box Toyboys. A slight technical hitch delayed the start but as soon as it got going beautiful sky fillers including Medusa from Fireworks International danced across the sky. The gremlins were out in force for this team and I know they were gutted with the technical hitches they encountered. Even so it was a well thought out display.
Third off were Bouncing Bangers (last year’s winners). They began with a huge 007 display, the 00 provided by massive Catherine wheels and an ‘on fire’ 7. It was a great way to start their display. Again huge amounts of “pyro” including Kimbolton’s Thundering Screaming Spiders all spilled out into the air. A unique and quirky display.
Lastly came Fireworks Crazy, up and off with Chrysanthemum Cones on a raised platform, the gold fountains reaching out 18ft into the sky. Up came Triple H Bombs from Fireworks International, Mines and Barrages a plenty. Colourful and noisy at that.
Whilst the votes were being counted three professional display teams gave us thrilling displays that if you like fireworks, well, you would have been in ‘pyro’ heaven! We were bombarded by shell after shell breaking above our heads, completely covering the sky in colour. Exhilarating!! I am still on a high.
Finally the winners were announced – Knights of Fire. For Nick and the rest of the team months of planning, (I know this because he bought the fireworks from me back last September), paid off, they really were a cut above the rest, meticulous planning and a fantastic use of different styles of fireworks really made it a truly memorable display. Thank you.
Next Year? The teams are already designing and planning the next battle but one thing is for sure, Stealth Fireworks is definitely going to be there.

Celebrate Diwali ‘The Festival of Light’ in the Grande Marquee whilst enjoying a lavish Indian Buffet and being entertained by Nikita Company, the well known Indian Bollywood Dancers. The night would not be complete without the Fireworks and Indian DJ who will be playing until midnight.
